Condolences offered by Diplomatic Corps in Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Diplomatic Corps in Mongolia expressed condolences for the loss of 17 lives on Otgontenger Mountain due to a snowslide.

Kalybek Koblandin, Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in Mongolia and Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Mongolia, sent a condolence letter on behalf of the Diplomatic Corps on October 25.

“The foreign diplomatic missions and heads of international organizations in Mongolia were deeply saddened to hear the news of climbing accident on Otgontenger Mountain where many mountaineers died. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and friends of the fallen mountaineers and the Mongolian people,” the letter reads.
