Minister of Foreign Affairs meets Ambassador of Japan

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Minister of Foreign Affairs D.Tsogtbaatar received Tuesday Masato Takaoka, Ambassador of Japan to Mongolia. They exchanged views on the bilateral relations and cooperation.
D.Tsogtbaatar emphasized that boosting the friendly relations and cooperation with Japan, a Third Neighbor and strategic partner of Mongolia, is one of the priorities of the Mongolian foreign policy.
Ambassador Masato Takaoka congratulated D.Tsogtbaatar on being appointed as the Foreign Minister of Mongolia, and underlined the mutual visit of Tadamori Oshima, Speaker of the House of Representatives of Japan and M.Enkhbold, Speaker of the Mongolian Parliament, was an important event in the history of the bilateral relations, in the scope of the 45th anniversary of the diplomatic relations.
The parties also exchanged views on international and regional matters.
