Members of Public Council at IAAC appointed

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Pursuant to a direction of the Mongolian President, members of the Non-Staff Public Council at the Independent Authority Against Corruption (IAAC) were appointed Tuesday.

The Council included 15 members with four-year term has objectives to activate people’s participation in fight against corruption, voice their opinions more effectively and to provide consultation for implementation of law and regulations on corruption.

The President’s direction was sounded by Z.Enkhbold, Head of the Presidential Office, and it was presented to Ts.Nyamdorj, Deputy Head of the IAAC.

After sounding names of the new members, the Presidential Office Head pointed out that the Council’s operation rule will be upgraded soon, and then obliged Ts.Nyamdorj; and Z.Baasannyam, a section head of the IAAC to provide the members with proper conditions for working.

The Public Council held its first meeting and selected G.Baasan as head of the Council.
