Cabinet changes dates of Naadam in some aimags

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ During its regular meeting on June 28, Wednesday, the Cabinet refixed the dates of Naadam celebrations in some aimags in response to requests made by the governors.
Bayankhongor aimag will celebrate Naadam on July 21-22 along with the 60th anniversary of its establishment.
With due consideration of murrain cases in some soums and drought situation in most soums, the Cabinet ordered that Naadam celebration will take place on July 28-29 in Dornogobi aimag.
Joined with an Eastern Region Horse Race, Naadam will be celebrated on July 28-29 in Sukhbaatar aimag.
Mongolian national Naadam festival is celebrated in each soum and aimag and the capital city in July. It is notable that these decisions only address Naadam celebration in provincial centers. The capital city will celebrate Naadam on July 11-12.
Moreover, the Cabinet instructed provincial governors to see to no celebration of Naadam in the aimags and soums on July 7, day of the second round of presidential election.
