Academician awarded for discovering new cancer treatment means
VideoPrime Minister Mr J.Erdenebat and Minister of Education, Culture, Science and Sports Mr J.Batsuuri handed over “The Natural and Social Sciences Award” to academician Mr D.Batsuren for his research work themed “Unique principle of synthesis of secondary Metabolites in Medicinal Herbs of Mongolia and a Potential New Agent for Curing Cancers”. Mr Batsuren received MNT 100 million cash prize.
The idea of Mongolian scholar is being studied in more than 150 countries. Mr D.Batsuren has been conducting researches and experiments for more than 40 years, during which he studied nearly 50 plant species and identified and defined over 300 substances.
Prime Minister Mr J.Erdenebat extended congratulations and expressed his hope that the use of new substances for cancer treatment would save many lives and protect health of mongolians.
