Mongolia accommodates 8,500 Chinese citizens
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Ambassador of People’s Republic of China to Mongolia Mr Xing Haiming received Monday the chairman of Citizenship and Migration General Authority of Mongolia Mr D.Bold.
Chinese citizens, living in Mongolia with purposes of business, marriage, immigration and investment, make up a greater proportion of foreign migrants in Mongolia, having 8,500 people residing, of which 3,200 are employed by Mongolia.
Mr D.Bold pledged to focus on disseminating information on the domestic laws and regulations concerning their rights and responsibilities, improving registration, and monitoring over breach of Chinese workers’ rights due to the Mongolian procurement agencies.
The sides also discussed about ways to enhance services at the border checkpoints.
