Lawyer I.Dashnyam receives award
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On the 24th anniversary of Mongolia’s first democratic Constitution, State Great Khural (parliament) award named after Chimid Bayaraa, a Hero of Labor, People’s Teacher and Honored Lawyer, went to ScD. Dashnyam Ish for his “History of Mongolian State and Laws” book.
Lawyer I.Dashnyam received a medal and cash prize.
Last year, this award was created in honor of Mr B.Chimid, one of the pioneer lawmakers who developed the original version of the first democratic Constitution, which is also the fourth in the history of Mongolian Constitution.
Prof. Dashnyam has been working at the Law School of the Mongolian State University (MSU) since 1971. He has published over 3,000 academic treatises, has mentored bachelor and master's and doctoral degrees completion works for more than 9,000 graduates, and has guided some 20 State Honored Lawyers and 30 scholars and science doctors on their economic path.
I.Dashnyam said he considers the award as a prize for his consistent work of the last 30 years on creating comprehensive treatise on 3,000 years of practices of Mongolian people’s statehood history, as well as on accomplishing "what my teacher (B.Chimid) had guided me to do".
