Dornod province might cooperate with Japan’s Fukuoka Prefecture

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Governor of Dornod aimag M.Badamsuren; and the governor of the aimag’s Khalkhgol soum V.Monkhtaivan visited Japan Fukuoka Prefecture on November 22-25.

The Mongolian delegation has met with A.Omagari, the deputy governor of Fukuoka Prefecture; and A.Sadakari, the deputy mayor of Fukuoka city. They have exchanged views on starting cooperation between Dornod province and Fukuoka Prefecture.

Giving details about the aimag and soum, the Mongolian delegation expressed willingness to boost the cooperation in exchanges at an administrative level, exchanges of youths, tourism and agricultural sectors.

The Japan’s side said it is necessary to learn each other prior to launch official ties.
