Speaker Z.Enkhbold legs Ural Turbine Works activities
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On September 25, Chairman of the State Great Khural (Parliament) Z.Enkhbold, who is paying an official visit Sverdlovsk Oblast, has been familiazed with activities of Ural Turbine Works.
The Ural Turbine Works is one of Russia's leaders in the design, manufacturing and supply of energy equipment. The plant was founded on October 02, 1938 that designs and manufactures steam co-generation medium and high-capacity turbines, condensers, steam back-pressure turbines, induction turbines, gas compressors, airless injection gas turbines, gas turbines for the power industry etc.
During more than 70 years of its work the plant delivered and mounted 861 steam turbines to power stations of different countries and in Mongolia, a recent construction of a new power unit with the capacity of 120 MW was completed at Ulaanbaatar Thermal Power Plant IV in March 2015. The Ural Turbine Works (the ROTEC Holding) acted in the capacity of the principal contractor of the building project and the basic equipment supplier; SOYUZ Power Development Corporation carried out construction and installation activities on the site. ROTEC Company, having the experience of cooperation with foreign- and Russian-based energy, machine-building and service organizations, managed to combine the efforts of numerous companies to build a complex facility within the most stringent time frames.
During the site visit, Speaker of Mongolian Parliament Z.Enkhbold noted that with a growing demand of energy consumption and increasing the number of buildings in Ulaanbaatar, the turbines delivered from Ural Turbine Works have proven its durability and long-lasting quality, which is considered as 'heart' of a power station. It is a remarkable incident to visit the site of the Ural Turbine Works, underlines the Speaker.
