JICA PRESENTS STUDY REPORT ON REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF MONGOLIA
President of Mongolia Kh Battulga received Director of Representative Office of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) to Mongolia Sato Mutsumi on September 14. The latter presented the Detailed Report on General Study on Regional Development of Mongolia carried out by JICA. President Battulga, while recalling his meeting with Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and the Director of the Japan Bank for International Cooperation, said that they had talked about consolidating cooperation of Mongolia and Japan for development. “JICA’s releasing of the General Study of Regional Development is the most timely achievement”, noted the President. The study had been conducted for a whole year since February 2015, motivated by two main factors.

Investment Research Center to be established under Ministry of Foreign Affairs
The State Heads of Mongolia, the Russian Federation and People’s Republic of China have approved a program on establishing the Mongolia-Russia-China Economic Corridor. Accordingly, 32 projects are to be implemented in the sectors of urban development, infrastructure, energy, environmental, tourism, agriculture.

Speaker of Parliament M.Enkhbold received Wednesday Tsutomu Takebe, head of the Society for Support Mongolia-Hokkaido Economic Ties. During the talk, they both expressed their satisfaction with a development of successful relations of the two countries. Mr Tsutomu Takebe pledged that he would devote himself for strengthening the relations. He said that the parties talked on establishing a working group to resolve pressing issues immediately during the Mongolia-Hokkaido Business Forum.
