Central Bank of Mongolia Decides to Keep Policy Interest Rate at 10 Percent
The Monetary Policy Committee of the Bank of Mongolia has decided at a regular meeting to maintain the policy interest rate at 10 percent and increase the reserve requirement in both domestic and foreign currency by 1 percentage point respectively to 11 percent and 16 percent, considering the current state of the economy, banking, and financial markets and the risks of the external environment.

Interesting facts about this metal have been displayed on the newly renovated classroom walls at the Mongolian University of Science and Technology (MUST). The renovation was completed under a memorandum of cooperation signed in 2023 between MUST and “Badrakh Energy” company, and the project was handed over on December 4th.
