The G77 Summit on Science, Technology, and Innovation opened yesterday with participation of delegates from more than 100 countries, including heads of state and vice presidents. The President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa has expressed Mongolia’s position at the summit China on “Current Development Challenges: The Role of Science, Technology and Innovation”, presenting the country’s policy and actions on the matter. To intensify the digitization and support IT production the Government of Mongolia intends to create favorable condition for investors, businessmen and high technology specialists in running business in Mongolia by establishing required legal and technological environment. At its regular session of the Cabinet on September 13, 2023, Minister of Digital Development and Communications Uchral Nyam-Ochir was tasked to take necessary actions for creating the favorable condition in collaboration with the relevant institutions of the Republic of Estonia and present them to the Cabinet meeting for discussion.
