Grand Opening of Naadam Festival: Mongolia is Independent through the Strength of Unity Forever

Ulaanbaatar, July 11, 2023 /MONTSAME/. The Mongolian National Naadam Festival has officially opened today by the Grand Opening Ceremony at the Central Stadium. Just after the opening remarks by the President of Mongolia Ukhnaa Khurelsukh, and paying respect to the Great White Banners, the Grand Opening of Naadam Festival took place.
"The theme of this year's Grand Opening of Naadam Festival is "Mongolia independent of unity" or "Mongolia independent through the strength of unity will exist forever. The construction of the Opening Ceremony is meta-mythology. It means a travel through space. For us, the Naadam Festival is the concentration of the Mongols' energy. On this day, at this moment, all Mongol people become festival goers. Mongolians can enjoy a festival at the same time in the Cental Stadium and anywhere in the world on TV. So, it is considered as energy concentration,”said Director Anar Batsaikhan.
The opening of the festival consists of six chapters: The Everlasting Unity Hymn, The Great Epic, The Time of Great Mongol Destiny, The Migration of the Three Times, The Altan Tevsh Valley, and World Mongol.
Some 1500 people consisted of artists, singers, dancers, horse artists and youth took part in the Grand Opening.
