JCI Impact to support school zone risk reduction

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. State Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports B.Bayarsaikhan and President of JCI Impact L.Odsuren signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on risk reduction in school zones in the capital.
In 2018, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports evaluated the safety risks of all general education schools and dormitories in the country. As the evaluation showed 13% of the schools in high risk, 74% in medium risk and 13% in low risk, the Ministry is taking several measures for child protection on the policy level.
During the signing ceremony, State Secretary of the Ministry B.Bayarsaikhan said, “Providing the basic conditions for children to study, develop and be loved and respected in a safe environment is the most important. I am grateful to the members of JCI Impact for deciding to partner in risk reduction of school zones.
