Delegation of MPs work in South Korea
SocietyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolian delegation led by MPs D.Lundeejantsan, D.Erdenebat and Ts.Munkh-Orgil worked in the Republic of Korea (ROK) on December 17-18, to learn from experiences of the National Assembly on holding public hearings.
The delegates held meetings with member of the National Assembly and Head of Korea-Mongolia Parliamentary Friendship Group Kang Chang Il and Deputy Head Kim Doo Hwan as well as other officials, exchanging views on bilateral relations and cooperation and further actions to be taken.
Moreover, the delegates met with Member of the National Assembly and Leader of the Korean Patriots Party Wonjin Cho. While sharing opinions on effective organization of public hearings and how to ensure public participation in it, the Mongolian delegation got familiarized with organizational activities of public hearing of the Standing Committee on Environment and Natural Resources.
The delegates also worked at the Embassy of Mongolia in the Republic of Korea, hearing Mongolian citizens living there and agreed to convey the pressing issues they face to the relevant organizations. As of December 2018, over 49300 Mongolian citizens are living in the ROK.
