Environment Minister N.Tserenbat receives Ambassador of Turkey
SocietyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Minister of Environment and Tourism N.Tserenbat yesterday received Ahmet Yazal, Ambassador of Turkey to Mongolia.
During the meeting, the
Turkish side exchanged views on bilateral cooperation for near future and long term and
expressed gratitude on accepting the request to receive two delegates of the Royal
Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, who are to visit Mongolia in November.
Cooperation Agreement
in Tourism Sector was established between the Governments of Mongolia and
Turkey in 1995 and Intergovernmental Cooperation Agreement in Environment Sector was established in 2006 respectively. Minister N.Tserenbat
expressed interest to intensifying cooperation in the fields within the
agreements. Moreover, high level meetings had discussed about implementing joint
projects on establishing tourism complex in Orkhon Valley. The two sides should
make efforts in putting this issue into action and involvement of the private sector and entities to it should be taken into attention, said the Minister.
