Energy Minister Ts. Davaasuren attending Russian Energy Week

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ Minister of Energy Ts.Davaasuren is attending the international forum ‘Russian Energy Week’ being held these days in Moscow, Russia. MP D.Damba-Ochir, Ambassador of Mongolia to Russian Federation B.Delgermaa and other officials are also partaking in the event. On October 3, the delegates attended the forum’s plenary session themed ‘Sustainable energy for the changing world’.
The plenary session discussed important issues for present and future development of the energy sector, including global energy security, effective use of traditional resource and innovative technological development.
Following the plenary session, the delegates a held a meeting with Parviz Shahbazov, Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan Republic, exchanging views on present bilateral cooperation in energy sector and further development. At the meeting, Azerbaijani Minister Parviz Shahbazov invited Mr. Davaasuren to visit Azerbaijan at his convenience.
