Mongolian President returns home after visiting France
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The President of Mongolia Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj arrived in Ulaanbaatar on November 21 after paying an official visit to the Republic of France upon the invitation of the French President Francois Hollande.
During the visit, the leaders of the two states held official talks. A president of the Senate of France Gerard Larcher and a Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development Laurent Fabius paid courtesy calls on Mr Elbegdorj.
In conclusion of the visit, which coincided with the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations, the sides made a joint statement.
Mr Elbegdorj also opened the Mongolia-France Business Forum and met with delegates from agricultural and cultural institutions of France.
