Chinggis Khaan National Museum Unveils Newly Acquired Artifacts

Ulaanbaatar, October 20, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The Chinggis Khaan National Museum is showcasing exceptional works that have been added to its collection since 2022 and are being unveiled for the first time.
The
exhibition, titled “Highlights of New Collections,”
features more than 150 artifacts and artworks, including the original 18th–19th
century manuscript “Bolor Toli,” the historical
source “The History of Chinggis Khaan,” published
in France in 1677, and the 1990 painting “Khar Zurkhnii Khukh Nuur”
by People’s Artist of Mongolia Amgalan Dagdan.
The
exhibition also displays commemorative stamps, including the 1962 special stamp issued for the 800th anniversary of
Chinggis Khaan’s birth and the postage stamp “Chinggis Khaan’s Heroes Arrive,” issued in
honor of the Mongolian peacekeepers who served in the United Nations mission to
provide security for the Special Court for Sierra
Leone. These and other exhibits were acquired by the museum
through purchase and donation.
Aimed at promoting and preserving Mongolia’s historical and cultural heritage, the exhibition will remain open to the public until the 30th of this month.
