Society
Ulaanbaatar, August 28, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Over 700 members of the Mongolian Children’s Council participated in the “Youth Advocacy Training” organized by UNICEF.
The training provided participants with knowledge and skills on what advocacy work entails, how to develop strategies, and how to carry out effective advocacy on issues they prioritize.
As part of this initiative, 30 young trainers were prepared, creating opportunities to share advocacy knowledge with even more children and youth. Furthermore, children and youth trained nationwide were invited to participate in an advocacy project competition, with winning projects set to be implemented in practice.
UNICEF and the Scout Association of Mongolia continue to focus on developing advocacy skills among children and youth.
