100th anniversary of Mongolia-Russia diplomatic relations to be celebrated throughout 2021

Battsetseg had a telephone conversation with her Russian counterpart S.V.
Lavrov on February 4.
Russian Minister Lavrov congratulated Minister Battsetseg on
her appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and wished her every
success.
Minister B.Battsetseg expressed a willingness to actively
cooperate with Minister Lavrov and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the
Russian Federation for the expansion of Mongolia-Russia friendly relations and
cooperation in all fields.
The Ministers said they are satisfied with the successful development of Mongolian-Russian relations in line with the concept of
comprehensive strategic partnership. They also expressed commitment to work
closely together for further deepening of bilateral cooperation, developing
trilateral cooperation between Mongolia, Russia and China, and deepening
mutually beneficial cooperation within regional and multilateral mechanisms as
well as enriching it with new content.
The parties appreciated the importance of celebrating the
100th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia
and Russia throughout 2021 in a wide range of areas, including trade, economy,
culture, science and the humanities, and emphasized that the celebration of
this historic anniversary has officially begun.
