Opening of ‘Student Soldier’ training takes place

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ An opening ceremony of professional military training ‘Student Soldier’ being held for the 5th time by the Government of Mongolia took place on June 30 in field training center of the National Defense University.
The ‘Student Soldier’ basic training aims to build up patriotic, intelligent and educated young men possessing general military knowledge.
In 2018, out of total 1500 students registered, 350 students are involved in the training in rural areas and 650 students in Ulaanbaatar city. The students had theoretical training from April 1 to June 1, and are now commencing their professional military training.
