Events in Ulaanbaatar:

May 12: Under the auspices of the President of Mongolia, the “Thank You, Nurses ‑ 2025” Consultative Meeting will take place at the State Palace.

May 12: International Nurses Day will be observed.

May 12: Parliamentary group meetings of the Mongolian People's Party and the Democratic Party in the State Great Khural will be held at the State Palace.

May 14: The Cabinet will hold its regular session at the State Palace.

May 15: Family Day will be observed.

May 15: “BEST OF KHUSUGTUN” vinyl‑release concert will take place at the State Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet.

May 15–16: Plenary sessions of the State Great Khural (Parliament) of Mongolia will convene at the State Palace.

May 16: Under the auspices of the Governor of the Capital City of Mongolia, the “Saint Muse‑18” Theatre Festival will commence.

May 16–18: Mongolia’s largest Tourism Expo will be held for the 11th time.

May 16–18 : The 37th Book Festival will take place at Sukhbaatar Square.

May 17: National Script, Culture, and Book Days will be observed.

Until May 12: The “National Script—Cultural Heritage” Special Exhibition is on display at the National Museum of Mongolia.

Until  May 20: The “Art Hidden in Archaeological Finds” Exhibition is open to the public at the Zanabazar Museum of Fine Arts.

The “Modlog Garden Expo,” a 60‑day afforestation and landscaping expo jointly organized by the Mongolian Association of Nurseries and Landscaping Professionals, will open at the IC Park at Yarmag, Ulaanbaatar.

Local Events:

May 13: The “Sapling & Seedling Fair‑2025” will be held in Zavkhan aimag.

May 14: The “Book Day” Event introducing the national script and culture will be organized in Uliastai soum of Zavkhan aimag.

May 16–18: The Youth National Wrestling Championship of Zavkhan aimag will be held at the Western Region Athletes’ Olympic Training Centre.

May 18: Invitational Wrestling Tournament featuring wrestlers holding national, aimag, and soum titles, dedicated to the opening of the “Zavkhan Dayan” wrestling club, will be organized in Zavkhan aimag.

Celebrating the National Script, Culture, and Book Days, the Public Library of Selenge aimag launched an online meme‑creation contest for all ages open until May 1 to May 20, 2025.

Events Abroad:

May 6–16: Mongolian chess players are competing at the Asian Adults Continental Chess Championship in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates.

More than ten Mongolian companies are participating in “Expo 2025 Osaka Kansai” in Japan.

The "Chinggis Khaan" International Exhibition is on display at the Czech National Museum until June 22, 2025.
