Head of the Standing Committee on Industrialization Policy Meets with Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar, April 17, 2025 /MONTSAME/. On April 16, 2025, Head of the Standing Committee on Industrialization Policy of the Parliament of Mongolia Ganbaatar Sainkhuu met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland to Mongolia Krzysztof Bojko. The meeting was held under the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the Republic of Poland, with discussions focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation and strengthening the Comprehensive Partnership, as well as aligning the two countries’ social and economic development goals. 


Head of the Standing Committee Ganbaatar Sainkhuu introduced 14 mega projects included in the Government’s Action Plan, highlighting the importance of adopting and localizing the advanced technologies and innovative practices from leading global industrial parks and manufacturers for their successful implementation. Moreover, Mr. Ganbaatar noted that the Standing Committee on Industrialization Policy is mandated to provide policy-level support in this regard, and emphasized the copper smelting and refining plants of the Polish KGHM Corporation as exemplary models. Mr. Ganbaatar proposed to intensify cooperation in the economy, industry, and technology, study Poland’s experience in developing household, micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises, and expand collaboration in food production, agriculture, and light industry. Furthermore, the Head of the Standing Committee expressed interest in exchanging information and recommendations to improve the legal framework related to these sectors. 


Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Mongolia Krzysztof Bojko affirmed that strengthening mutual respect and trust between the peoples of the two countries and deepening bilateral cooperation across all sectors is a key objective of the Comprehensive Partnership. The Ambassador noted the strong potential for collaboration, particularly in industrial development, including in the legal, regulatory, and technological aspects of the mining and processing industries.
