Ulaanbaatar, March 24, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Summary of events for the week of March 24-30, 2025.


Events in Ulaanbaatar:


March 24: Parliamentary parties in the State Great Khural will convene.


March 24: The Mongolia–UN Joint Steering Committee Meeting will be held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia.


March 24: The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, the Water Authority, and the School of Public Health at the Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences will co-organize the 19th annual student scientific and theoretical conference entitled “Water – The Key to Development.”

March 25: The “JANTSANNOROV” Foundation and the National Grand Theater of Folk Arts will jointly present a concert featuring composer Jantsannorov Natsag’s solo and orchestral works, songs, and romances at the Central Cultural Palace.

March 25–26: Standing Committees of the State Great Khural will convene.

March 26: The regular session of the Cabinet of Mongolia will take place at the State Palace.

March 26: Mongolia and the Republic of Korea will mark the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.

March 27: World Theater Day will be observed.

March 27: The “Mungun Mod-2024” [Silver Tree-2024] Festival to award the best works in the visual arts will be held.

March 27: In observance of the World Theater Day, the event “Theater: Yesterday and Tomorrow” will be organized.

March 27: A play inspired by Chinese author Yu Hua’s novel To Live will be staged at the Independence Palace.

March 27–28: The State Great Khural’s plenary sessions will be held at the State Palace.

March 28: Members of the Constitutional Court of Mongolia will convene.

March 28: The “Bayanmongol” Ensemble, Recipient of the State Merit of Mongolia, will present a concert titled “Moody Blues” at the National Philharmonic Hall.

March 29: A draw-based wrestling tournament called “Best Buzzer,” featuring 64 top-ranked wrestlers, will take place at the Mongolian Wrestling Palace.

A nationwide “Let’s Respect Each Other” campaign is ongoing until April 1, 2025.

Local Events:

March 24–26: The historical musical drama Zaya Gegeenten will be performed at the Arkhangai Aimag Musical and Drama Theater.

March 25–27: A “Unified Training and Conference for Child Duty Bearers” will be held in Murun soum, Khuvsgul aimag.

March 29–30: The Khangai Region’s 100-square draughts championship will take place in Arkhangai aimag.

March 29–30: The “Ugii Cup-2025” Ice Fishing Championship will be held at Lake Ugii in Arkhangai aimag.


Events Abroad:

March 26–30: Mongolia’s Men’s and Women’s National Teams will participate in the 2025 FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup in Singapore.

The “Chinggis Khaan” International Exhibition is on display at the Czech National Museum until June 22, 2025.
