"Asia Folk 2024" to Display Traditional Culture and Handcrafts

Ulaanbaatar, June 11, 2024 /MONTSAME/. Under the auspices of the Governor of the Capital City of Mongolia, the “Asia Folk 2024”, an arts festival showcasing the traditional arts and handcrafts of Asian countries, will be held in Ulaanbaatar, on June 14-16, 2024.


Joining this year’s Festival, over 170 artists from China, South Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Uzbekistan, India, Japan, Iran, and Bulgaria will demonstrate their national cultures in vibrant ways.


Various events will take place at the Festival in Sukhbaatar Square, including traditional art performances, exhibitions of handcrafts, workshop training, a parade and performances in national costumes, and collaborative performances of Mongolian and foreign artists.


The main organizers of the “Asia Folk 2024” arts festival are the Governor’s Office of the Capital City, the Authority on Arts and Culture of the Capital City, the Center for Small to Medium Enterprises of the Capital City, “ArtLar Culture” NGO, and World Association of Folklore Festivals.
