Mongolia and Belarus to Collaborate in Environment and Tourism Sectors

Ulaanbaatar, June 3, 2024 /MONTSAME/. Minister of Environment and Tourism B. Bat-Erdene held a bilateral meeting with Maslyak Sergei Mikhailovich, Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus.
At the beginning of the meeting,
Minister B. Bat-Erdene expressed his gratitude for the visit of the esteemed Minister
within the framework of the State Visit of the President of the Republic of
Belarus A. G. Lukashenko to Mongolia. They discussed potential projects and
programs for cooperation between the two countries to enhance collaboration in
the fields of specially protected areas and forestry as well as joint efforts
in environmental protection and the sustainable and rational use of natural
resources.
Furthermore, the two parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Environmental Protection between the Ministry of Environment and Tourism of Mongolia and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of Belarus, and a Memorandum of Understanding on Tourism Cooperation between the Ministry of Environment and Tourism of Mongolia and the Ministry of Sport and Tourism of the Republic of Belarus.
