Good Teachers to Be Prepared in Collaboration with Finland

of Education and Science of Mongolia Enkh-Amgalan Luvsantseren is paying an
official visit to Finland.
During the visit, the Minister held a meeting
with Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Education and Culture of
Finland Anita Lehikoinen, and exchanged views on education reform in Mongolia
and Finland.
Finland regularly participates in PISA assessment and based
on its 2022 results, the policy reform is to be implemented towards school
management, teacher education and evaluation, also using artificial
intelligence in training, sustainable development, and developing the
citizens' green skills.
Moreover, the Minister visited the University of Helsinki
of Finland and exchanged opinions on teacher preparation and the system for teachers'
advanced training and presented the “Teachers’ three-pillar policy” implemented
in Mongolia. Minister Enkh-Amgalan seeks
the possibility of initiating cooperation between the Mongolian National University of Education and
the University of Helsinki and implementing a joint program to strengthen the
teacher training system.
Also, the Minister visited the early childhood development centre under the Helsinki University, getting acquainted with children’s development and training activities, and consulted on the possibility of collaboration with the Preschool Education School at the Mongolian National University of Education.
