Mongolia-UNFAO 50th Anniversary Postage Stamp Unveiled

Ulaanbaatar, October 18, 2023 /MONTSAME/. On October 16, 2023, Mongolia celebrated the 50th anniversary of its membership in the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (UNFAO) with a Special Ceremony at the Natural History Museum of Mongolia.
At the Ceremony, a postage stamp dedicated to the 50th anniversary was unveiled, and the first postmarks were signed and sealed by Ankhbayar Nyamdorj, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, and Vinod Ahuja, Country Representative of the UNFAO to Mongolia.
Over the past 50 years, the UNFAO has played a pivotal role in Mongolia's social and economic development, successfully implementing over 200 projects and programs.
Mongolia became a member of the FAO in 1973.
