Mongolian Ambassador to Canada Presents Letter of Credence

Ulaanbaatar, October 16, 2023 /MONTSAME/. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Canada Sarantogos Erdenetsogt presented her Letter of Credence to Mary Simon, Governor General of Canada on October 13, 2023.
During the Meeting, Ambassador Sarantogos conveyed the warm greetings of the President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa. She expressed her satisfaction at presenting her Letter of Credence on the eve of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Canada. The Ambassador extended her confidence that she will actively work to further expand relations and cooperation between the two countries, as well as strengthen people-to-people ties.
Governor Mary
Simon emphasized that Mongolia and Canada share common values of democracy and
human rights and noted the opportunities to develop cooperation between the two
countries in numerous areas.
Diplomatic
relations between Mongolia and Canada were established on November 30, 1973.
