Green Finance - International Forum: Financing Green and SDG-Aligned Future

Ulaanbaatar, June 14, 2023 /MONTSAME/. The Green Finance- International Forum, which kicked off today at Shangri-La Hotel, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, consists of plenary and deep-dive breakout sessions on a diverse range of trending sustainable finance topics: private sector leadership and policy incentives, sustainability and climate risk disclosure, and emerging topics such as transition finance, taxonomy alignment, financing of nature-based solutions through technology, and the role of national green banks.


Through the open dialogue, facilitated by the Green Financing Leadership Program participants will have an opportunity to draw on good international practices while reflecting on national contexts and priorities, exchange ideas, and explore collective actions toward a more stable and sustainable financial system.  


In celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Mongolian Sustainable Finance Initiative and Sustainable Finance Week 2023, the Forum is being organized through the combined efforts of numerous domestic and international partner organizations.


Local partners: Ministry of Economy and Development, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Environment and Tourism, Central Bank of Mongolia, Financial Regulatory Commission, Mongolian Bankers Association, Deposit Insurance Corporation of Mongolia, MSFA member organizations.
