President of Poland Lands in Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar, April 24, 2023 /MONTSAME/. President of the Republic of
Poland Andrzej Sebastian Duda and his spouse Agata Kornhauser-Duda have arrived
in Mongolia for a State visit at the invitation of President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin
Khurelsukh and his spouse Luvsandorjiin Bolortsetseg.
When President Andrzej Duda and his spouse landed at Chinggis Khaan International Airport, Minister of Foreign Affairs B. Battsetseg, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland to Mongolia Krzysztof Boyko and other officials welcomed them. During the State visit, President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh and President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda will hold official talks on bilateral relations and cooperation in a wide range of areas as well as issues of international agenda.
The talks will focus
on collaboration with Poland in the implementation of Mongolia's long-term
development policy "Vision 2050", mid-term "New Revival
Policy", "Food Supply and
Security", "Billion Trees" national movements, and “President’s
Scholar–2100" scholarship program. In addition, the Presidents will
exchange views on expanding and developing relations in the fields of
agriculture, light industry, infrastructure, education, and culture.
During the State visit, the Agreement on International road transport between the Government of
Mongolia and the Government of the Republic of Poland and cooperation documents
in the fields of trade, investment, science, archives, geology, and veterinary
medicine will be signed.
Andrzej Duda was
elected as the President of Poland in 2015 and was re-elected in the 2020
presidential election. Accompanying former President Lech Kaczynski in 2008, he
visited Mongolia as the Undersecretary of State in the Chancellery of the
President. Since 1990, the visit of President Bronislaw Komorowski to Mongolia
in 2013 was the last Presidential visit from Poland.
