Representative from the World Health Organization Presents Letter of Credence to Minister of Foreign Affairs

March 7, 2023 /MONTSAME/. Today, the representative of the World
Health Organization (WHO) Socorro Escalante to Mongolia presented her Letter of
Credence to Minister of Foreign Affairs Ms. Battsetseg.
While congratulating Dr. Socorro Escalante on her new
assignment, Minister of Foreign Affairs Ms. Battsetseg expressed her gratitude
to the WHO for their continued support to Mongolia, particularly their valuable
contribution to expanding the fruitful cooperation between Mongolia and WHO and
to implementing the policy and programs aimed at protecting the health of the
population of our country.
In response, Dr. Socorro Escalante, a representative of the
WHO to Mongolia, reassured the Minister that the WHO is aware of the specific
needs of the country in health matters and pledged the support of the WHO in
assisting Mongolia to achieve health-related initiatives.
