Society
Ulaanbaatar, February 27, 2023 /MONTSAME/. A
Metaverse Virtual event is an interactive meeting on an online platform. Unlike
in-person events, the metaverse is not limited to one location. Participants
can join from anywhere worldwide as long as they have internet access.
During this Tsagaan Sar, Mongolian technological company Guyuk organized an event called “Virtual Tsagaan Sar” in the metaverse for three days. Over 10.000 users from 21 countries greeted each other and played around 1.3 million dibs. Moreover, specialists interpreted the virtual exhibitions of the Zanabazar museum and virtual Ger.
The virtual event is an easy and effective way to promote
traditions to the young generation and introduce national heritages to the
world.
After the COVID-19 outbreak, the metaverse and hybrid
gatherings experiences have received positively. A 2021 study found that 91% of
respondents were satisfied with online events. And according to Grand View
Research, the global virtual events market will grow to more than $500
billion by 2028.
