Korea Telecom Group Conducting Study to Establish Diagnostic Center

January 26, Prime Minister of Mongolia L. Oyun-Erdene received Hyeon-Mo
Ku, CEO of Korea Telecom group, South Korea, and exchanged views on
cooperation opportunities.
Prime minister L. Oyun-Erdene
emphasized that the relations between Mongolia and South Korea, especially, the
relations and cooperation in economic and social spheres had been expanding for
the last 30 years based on our solid strategic partnership.
Appreciating their plan to invest in
information technology, communication infrastructure, health, and banking
sector, he said that the investment, to be made by Korea
Telecom group, would be an important impetus for expanding economic relations and
cooperation between our two countries.
In response, the CEO of the Korea Telecom group expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister L. Oyun-Erdene for
receiving and their intention to cooperate on the Mongolian digital transition. According
to Mr. Hyeon-Mo Ku, the Korea Telecom group is planning to implement a project to establish a modern
diagnostic center in Mongolia, and its feasibility study is underway. As part of his
visit, he also signed a cooperation agreement
with the Bank of Mongolia on January 26 and is planning to sign a Memorandum of Cooperation
with the Ministry of Environment and Tourism on content exchange.
