Necessary medical equipment handed over to Mongolia-Japan Teaching Hospital
SocietyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Japan decided to provide non-refundable aid of JPY 313 million to Mongolia under its Economic and Social
Development Programme within the framework of the 50th anniversary of the
establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Japan.
As the first batch of the aid, JPY 92 million-worth fully
equipped ambulance and essential medical equipment were handed over to the
Mongolia-Japan Teaching Hospital.
With the modern high-tech equipment provided this time, the
Teaching Hospital’s high-quality medical service for capital and rural patients
will be enhanced.
Support provided from Japan will serve as a valuable contribution
to training of scientists, teachers, researchers, doctors, professors, doctors,
nurses and medical specialists in the field of health and education.
The hospital was built with the Grant Aid of the Government
of Japan in 2019. Previously being under the Ministry of Education and Science,
the hospital was transferred under the MNUMS.
