Mongolian, Chinese Foreign Ministers hold telephone conversation

Ulaanbaaar/MONTSAME/. Today, January 28, Minister for
Foreign Affairs B.Battsetseg had a telephone conversation with China’s State
Councilor and Minister of Foreign Affairs Wang Yi on the upcoming working visit
of the Prime Minister of Mongolia L. Oyun-Erdene to the Republic of China and the
process of preparations to participate in the opening ceremony of the 2022 Beijing
Winter Olympics.
The Foreign Ministers stressed the importance of achieving
mutual understanding at the high level of government on the coherence of key
objectives set out in Mongolia's ‘Vision-2050’ long-term development policy and
‘New Revival Policy’ and China's ‘14th Five-Year Plan’, ‘Belt and Road
Initiative’, and ‘Global Development Initiative’. They also noted that relevant
organizations are actively cooperating to effectively organize the Mongolian Prime Minister's visit and make progress in bilateral relations.
Mr. Wang Yi highlighted that the Mongolian Prime Minister L.Oyun-Erdene
was one of the first foreign leaders to express their participation in the
opening ceremony of the Olympic Games, and stated that the Chinese Government applauds his attendance in the opening
ceremony.
