Ambassador D.Gansukh meets with Czech Senator

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On January 26, Ambassador of Mongolia to the Czech
Republic H.E. Mr. Gansukh Damdin had a meeting with Mr. Jaroslav Doubrava, Member
of the Senate of the Czech Republic, in the Senate Hall.
During the meeting, Ambassador briefed on
Mongolia-Czech relations and cooperation and expressed his gratitude for the
Senator’s efforts to strengthen friendly relations between
the two countries and develop people-to-people and business ties, in particular
for his role in getting the Czech Senate approval for the Social Security
Agreement between Mongolia and the Czech Republic. Senator Mr. J.Doubrava has
been a member of the Senate for 18 years and has visited Mongolia several
times.
The two countries signed the Agreement on Social Security between Mongolia and the Czech Republic in Prague in 2019. The State Great Hural of Mongolia ratified the agreement on April 24, 2020 while the Czech Senate approved the ratification on October 30, 2019. The agreement will enter into force following the ratification by the Czech Chamber of Deputies and signing by the President of the Czech Republic.
