Winners of essay contest of MONTSAME agency newspapers awarded

of the annual English, Japanese, and Chinese essay contests organized among
10th to 12th-grade students by the English, Japanese, and
Chinese weekly newspapers, Mongol Messenger, Mongoru Tsushin, and Menggu
Xiao Xibao, operated by MONTSAME National News Agency in collaboration with
relevant organizations received their awards at the Press Center of MONTSAME
News Agency on December 27.
On the occasion of the 100th
anniversary of the People’s Revolution of Mongolia and the 100th anniversary of
the establishment of the Mongolian National News Agency MONTSAME, the essay
contests were held under the topic ‘Historic achievements of modern Mongolia in
the last 100 years’ this year.
In the English essay contest, student of Orchlon School L.Tenuun took first place, A.Enkhbayar from Sant School second place, and B.Bilguun from Mongolian-Russian Joint School third place.
The first place winner of the Japanese essay contest, 11th grade student of Darkhan Empathy School B.Delgermaa, has been awarded a 10-day trip to Japan as part of the Jenesys international youth exchange program. 11th grade student of Shine Ue School Ito Batnairamdal Ken and student of Nomt Naran School G.Tsog-Uchral were the first and second runners up in the contest.
In the essay contest in
Chinese, 12th grader of Nairamdal School B.Khangal came first, 11th grader of
Ui Tsai School B.Tselmuun
second, and E.Minjin from Darkhan Tsaihun
School
third. The Chinese essay contest had a special award, which went to O.Khuselbaatar from Nairamdal School.
