Foreign Minister meets foreign media representatives

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Minister of Foreign Affairs B.Battsetseg received representatives of foreign media operating in Mongolia.


Foreign Minister B.Battsetseg conveyed gratitude to the representatives for serving as a bridge to promote the Mongolia's political, economic, historical, cultural and social development and achievements abroad. She emphasized that the active cooperation in the media sector is playing an important role in the challenging circumstances faced to the world and to overcome the pandemic. Moreover, Foreign Minister B.Battsetseg noted that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is paying a special attention on promoting the Mongolia’s foreign policy, democracy and reform process, strengthening friendly relation with countries around the world, and increasing people-to-people exchanges, and closely working with the media organizations.


21 reporters and cameramen from 13 media outlets are working in Mongolia, including ‘Al Jazeera’, ‘Xinhua’, ‘Jimin Jibao’, ‘China Central Radio’, ‘Television CCTV’, ‘Asahi Shimbun’, ‘Kyodo Tsushin’, ‘Fuji TV’, ‘Mongolnow.com’, ‘Reuters’, ‘bne IntelliNews’, ‘Agence France Presse’ and ‘Associated Press’ and ‘KBS’
