Minister of Culture meets Italian Foreign Minister

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ During
her participation in the 41st session of the General Conference of the United
Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), Minister of
Culture Ch.Nomin held a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Italian
Republic Luigi Di Maio.
The sides exchanged views on issues related to policy documents issued by the UNESCO General Conference and UNESCO's medium-term strategy and Recommendation on Open Science and the World Heritage Committee.
They mainly discussed bilateral
cooperation in restoration of cultural heritage and the Mongolian side showed
an interest in receiving technical assistance from Italy in the field. The Ministers
concluded that the two countries should cooperate in the field through
partnerships between universities and colleges. At the end of the meeting, the
Italian Foreign Minister invited Minister Ch.Nomin to pay a visit to Italy.
