Copies of cultural heritage artifacts handed over for Museum of Chinggis Khaan

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On November 12, President of Mongolia U.Khurelsukh received Honorary Consul of Mongolia in Tokushima, Japan Kawauchi Shiro. 

 

The Honorary Consul presented copies of scrolls depicting the invasion of the Yuan Dynasty being kept at the Imperial Palace of Japan, and Chinggis Khaan’s Gerege being kept at the Library of Tenri University. 

 

Expressing gratitude for providing support in making the copies, the President highlighted that he believes that the copies will become one of the highlight exhibits for the Museum of Chinggis Khaan. 


State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs N.Ankhbayar, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Japan D.Batjargal, Foreign Policy Advisor to the President of Mongolia E.Odbayar, and Cultural Envoy of Mongolia Ya.Miki were present at the handover.
