Energy Minister participates in High-level Dialogue on Energy

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Minister of Energy N.Tavinbekh took part in the United Nations High-level Dialogue on Energy on September 24. 

During the event, heads of state and government of over 40 countries had discussions on accelerating action to achieve universal energy access and net zero emissions, ensuring just and inclusive energy transitions to leave no one behind, catalyzing finance and investment and scaling up action through energy compacts.

In his remarks, Minister N.Tavinbekh stressed the significance of the international discussion of challenges faced in achieving the Sustainable Development Goal 7, which calls for ‘affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all’ by 2030, mentioning that Mongolia has set major goals including creating jobs ensuring environmental sustainability, and coping with climate change in its long term policy document Vision 2050.
