Four national committees set up

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. At today’s Cabinet meeting, the establishment of four National Committees and their compositions were approved.
-A national committee in charge of stimulating the economy
amid the pandemic, increasing export, promoting import-substitute national
manufacturing, strengthening public-private partnership and increasing
investment;
-A national committee on transitioning to e-governance and
building public service without red tape and corruption;
-A national committee on ensuring the urban and rural
development balance, decentralizing and reducing traffic congestion;
-A national committee responsible for increasing housing for
citizens, establishing a unified savings fund and the National Sovereign Wealth
Fund, as well as expanding the middle class.
Prime Minister L. Oyun-Erdene will head the committees. Head
of the Cabinet Secretariat Ts. Nyamdorj was assigned to have the committees’
regulations approved and oversee their implementation.
During the Cabinet meeting, the Prime Minister also stressed
that he would focus on operations of the committees.
