Winter preparations to be stepped up

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At a regular meeting of the Cabinet on July 20, Minister of Energy N.Tavinbekh presented a report on 2021-2022 winter preparation plans of the Energy sector. The sector’s winter preparations were 45.9 percent complete as of July 10 with the preparations of companies 47.6 percent complete and coal mines around 30 percent complete.
As of July 10, Tavantolgoi Tulsh LLC had 93 thousand tons of refined coal raw materials at its warehouse and 70 thousand tons of raw materials at its eastern plant. There also is a total of 5.9 thousand tons of refined coal at 55 warehouses in six districts and the coal plant’s warehouse.
The Energy Minister was tasked with monitoring the preparations and reporting to the Cabinet on the progress made and pressing issues.
