Switzerland to support Mongolia’s Covid-19 response

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Minister of Health S.Enkhbold had a meeting with  Head of Swiss Cooperation in Mongolia Stefanie Burri in connection with the Swiss Confederation’s plan to supply medical equipment and medicine to Mongolia as humanitarian assistance in support of the country’s efforts to increase the capacity of its health care sector to fight COVID-19.


There are plans to bring much needed medical equipment including ventilators and oxygen concentrators to the country on an aircraft of Swiss Air on July 13. Minister S.Enkhbold gave brief information on the COVID-19 situation in the country and expressed his profound gratitude for the humanitarian assistance amid a surge in COVID-19 cases.
