TOP-100 enterprises of 2020 announced

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Today, June 28, the Government of
Mongolia and Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry have organized
an event for the 20th year to announce rankings of TOP-100 enterprises. This
year, for the second year in a row, the event has been organized online due to
the COVID-19 pandemic situations.
The top 10 enterprises
are:
- Erdenet Mining Corporation
- Erdenes Tavan Tolgoi LLC
- Oyu Tolgoi LLC
- Khaan Bank
- Energy Resources LLC
- Ulaanbaatar Railways JSC
- Trade and Development Bank
- TTJVCO LLC
- Golomt Bank
- APU Company
Erdenet Mining Corporation, which leads the top 100 enterprises, has been included in the list for 19 years, and paid MNT 743.9 billion for taxes last year. In 2020, the plant produced 11.7 million tons of copper concentrate.

The rankings are based on 2020 data on the companies’ revenues,
state budget contributions of their tax payments, the number of their employees
paying social insurance premiums, net profit and total assets.
