Warmer temperatures expected in most parts of the country

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Warmer temperatures are expected in most parts of the country starting from today, reports the National Agency of Meteorology and Environment.

 

Rain and thunderstorms are expected in the eastern parts of eastern aimags tomorrow on June 4, in some parts of western aimags and western parts of central aimags on June 5, in some parts of western aimags and in most parts of central aimags on June 6, and in western parts of western aimags, in most parts of central aimags, in western parts of eastern aimags, and in northern parts of Gobi aimags on June 7. 

 

Wind speed will be 18-20 m/sec in the Altai mountains on June 5, in some parts of the country on June 6, and in the Gobi and plains on June 7, reaching  24 m/sec at times.

 

With hot temperatures in most parts of the country on June 5 and in the eastern region on June 6, in the mountainous areas of Khangai, Khuvsgul, and Khentii, in the head of Zavkhan, Tuul, Terelj, Kherlen, Onon, and Ulz rivers, the temperature will range from +5 to +10 degrees Celsius during the night, and +20 to +25 during the day.

 

In the depression of the Great Lakes, the banks of Orkhon-Selenge, and in the southern Gobi region, the night-time temperature will be +13 to +18 degrees Celsius, and daytime temperature will be +30 to +35 degrees Celsius.

 

In other areas, temperatures are expected to be +8 to +13 during the night, and +25 to +30 during the day. Temperatures are expected to slightly drop from June 7.
