COVID-19: 539 new cases recorded

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ 539 new cases of COVID-19 were reported nationwide in the past 24 hours.  


491 of the new cases were registered in the capital city and 48 cases were recorded in rural areas. Mongolia now has 52,470 confirmed cases of COVID-19.


In the past 24 hours, 485 people were discharged from hospital and home isolation, making the number of recoveries 46,338.


Four people died due to coronavirus complications and the death toll has reached 248. As of today, 4,901 people are receiving treatment and of whom 115 are in very critical health condition.
