Ulaanbaatar to have fifth source of heat and power supply

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. During the extended meeting of the cabinet of ministers held on May 19, Wednesday, sector ministers made presentations on issues regarding treatment plant, water supply, satellite cities and heat and power infrastructure in Ulaanbaatar city.
Following the presentations, corresponding ministers were charged with coordinating a development project on the fifth source of Ulaanbaatar's heat and power supply, which is to be based on the Thermal Power Plant No. 3 of Ulaanbaatar, in line with the project on the extension of the Thermal Power Plant No. 3.
The cabinet meeting also heard about the implementation process of the government’s comprehensive plan with total cost of MNT 10 trillion aimed at health protection and economic recovery as well as procurement activities with state budget funding.
